[Unavailable] 2016 Slingshot SL
Direct from a futuristic movie set, the Polaris Slingshot is a 2-seat, 3-wheel wonder. It's classified as a motorcycle, but it's not. It's a 4-cylinder, 5-speed trike with 176 horsepower. It casts a unique design on the road. The Polaris doesn't have doors or a roof. There's no climate control, nor airbags. If you'd like a windshield, a small one is optional.
The Polaris Slingshot weighs 1,725 pounds. It's a minimalist approach to transportation for anyone who wants to try something new and exciting. It defines fun on the road. It's for anyone who's considered trying a Harley Davidson but isn't all that keen on the idea and who's decided three wheels is a better approach.
It's not mandatory to hang upside down or spin out of control, but the Polaris Slingshot has a similar allure to a new carnival ride. It's loose, wild and different. Why not give it a try? It's a motorized vehicle for a driver with daredevil traits. It's for anyone whose idea of a good time on wheels is embracing the spirit of adventure.
Piloting a Polaris is obviously different than driving a car. There's only one rear wheel, so the automatic sense of stability isn't there. Oh, well, who needs it? The Polaris offers a flexible ride, and your rate of speed will seem faster than it is, thanks to the vehicle's openness and unique tripod approach. The Polaris can complete the 0-60 mph standard in 5.1 seconds. It cracks the quarter-mile in 13.6 seconds.
Those times aren't particularly impressive for sports cars or motorcycles, but the Polaris doesn't care. It's too busy setting its course. It gives occupants a good haul for their money. It's a simple and simultaneously complex machine built to give side-by-side riders a good chunk of open-air fun.
Despite its overall simplicity, the Polaris doesn't compromise on safety and basic technology. On the contrary, the three-wheel creation includes manually adjustable seats, with three-point safety belts. There's a backup camera, a six-speaker stereo system, and a waterproof infotainment center. Its features also include Bluetooth connectivity, LED taillights, electronic stability control, projector beam headlights and LED taillights.
And there are other considerations. The Polaris Slingshot doesn't have a heater or an air conditioner. Any thought of staying dry in inclement weather is foolish. The autocycle is loud, and every twist, turn or bump is heartily felt. It's all part of the experience -- if you like that sort of thing.
Finally, don't expect to drive the Polaris Slingshot without attracting attention. It's a conversation piece on wheels, an extrovert's nirvana.

Overall we had an awesome experience. Slingshots were in great condition, equipped with Bluetooth and automatic transmissions which is unheard of for slingshots. Staff was great, smooth easy process to get you out on the strip fast, literally with their car line up. Awesome time. Highly recommend these guys!Read Full Review
I found out they rented out Vanderhalls and went to check them out. The staff was courteous, professional and helpful; they answered all my questions (even about the cars I wasn't renting!) Decent price for an awesome ride. Next time I'm in Vegas, I'll be back for more!Read Full Review
