About Darren

As the detail manager at Royalty Exotic, Darren is focused on the cleanliness of the company's vehicles. It's a priority for many reasons. Helping maintain individual cars in Royalty Exotics' fleet is not only integral to the company's success, it helps foster increased satisfaction among customers.

"I am most passionate about retaining our exotic cars' value and keeping them shinier than the day we purchased them," Darren says. "I'm passionate about learning new things that can help me improve my overall knowledge and expand my craft."

Darren's dedication to his employment has prompted career advances. He was hired at Royalty Exotic as a car washer. He now manages the department that literally shines the brightest.

While integrity and perseverance have proven invaluable, Darren has also succeeded despite the oddity of being colorblind.

“That’s my biggest accomplishment,” Darren says. “I’m colorblind but I’m still able to do a paint corrects on a car.”

Darren also faces daily tasks that may not logically seem applicable go the exotic car industry. Unfortunately, some issues are commonplace.

“The problems I consistently fix at work are getting out a scratch on a door, removing gum stuck in the carpet, and other small love marks that customers sometimes unintentionally cause,” Darren says. “But how detailed the cars are is what I am most complimented on.”

When he’s not at work, Darren still appreciates cars. He drives a Honda S2000, and perhaps even still thinks about the Royalty Exotic fleet when he's scooping around town with friends or family.

“If I could do anything with my time, I would probably wax every car that we have,” he says. “Because the shiny shimmer leftover on the cars is very satisfying.”
