Our Process

Initial inspection

We begin by inspecting the vehicle’s overall condition and verifying that all systems are functioning properly. This allows us to plan the manual conversion with confidence and accuracy.

Engine removal

The engine is carefully removed using factory lift points and procedures. This gives us full access to the transmission and supporting systems.

Remove e-gear system

We remove the entire e-gear system, including electronics, sensors, hydraulic lines, and actuators. This clears the way for the manual conversion components.

Install manual components

All manual drivetrain parts are installed, including the gated shifter, clutch, flywheel, and shift linkage. Each part is test-fitted and aligned to factory specifications.

Prep engine bay

The engine bay is thoroughly cleaned and degreased. This ensures a clean environment for reinstallation and highlights any necessary repairs.

Cut tunnel for shifter

We cut and shape the center tunnel to accommodate the gated shifter assembly. This is done with precision tools for a clean and factory-style result.

Modify steering column

The steering column is modified to ensure proper clearance with the new pedal layout and manual linkage. We verify that all steering geometry remains within spec.

Customize pedal box

The pedal box is rebuilt to include a properly positioned clutch pedal and custom footrest. Each pedal is adjusted for smooth and consistent feel.

Install clutch pump

A new clutch pump is installed and connected to the modified servo system. Custom hydraulic lines are routed to fit the Murciélago’s layout.

Reinforce tunnel

We reinforce the tunnel area with welded steel supports. This adds strength and rigidity to handle the gated shift mechanism.

Retrim console

The carbon fiber console is rewrapped in leather that matches the factory interior. All seams are hand-stitched for a clean finish.

Remove reverse button

The original e-gear reverse button is removed from the console. The area is refinished to maintain a clean OEM appearance.

Reinstall engine

The engine is reinstalled with updated mounts and the new manual hardware. All connections are rechecked for proper fit and alignment.

Align shifter

We align and calibrate the gated shifter to ensure crisp and accurate gear engagement. The selector mechanism is tested under load.

Tune software

The ECU is flashed and reprogrammed to support manual operation. All e-gear logic is fully disabled to prevent error codes.

Full detail

The vehicle receives a full detail, including paint correction and interior conditioning. We restore the car to showroom-level appearance.

Road test

A multi-phase road test is performed to verify clutch feel, gear engagement, and overall drivability. The process is recorded in high-resolution video.

Delivery prep

We perform a final inspection, tighten all systems, and prepare the car for delivery. A professional photo session is included for client documentation.
